But when it comes to buying the same maize from farmers at a cost of Kshs2,300, this same Government is not keen. The Assistant Minister has confirmed that there are no plans to buy maize, when it is rotting in the farms. My question is: Is he sure that this Government has a heart for farmers in this country?"
