"content": "(ii) The National Agriculture and Livestock Extension Programme known as NALEP which is co-funded by the Government of Kenya and the Swedish Government: This project which is in its second phase started in 2000 and it is jointly implemented by both the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Livestock Development. This project mainly deals with capacity building of farmers and pastoralists in all the districts in the country, including the larger Kitui District.
