Speaker, I rise to ask Question No.014/2022 directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why funds for the maintenance of rural roads under the Roads Maintenance Levy Fund for the Financial Year 2021/2022 are yet to be disbursed? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary state when the funds will be disbursed given that there are just over four months left to the end of the current financial year? (iii) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain whether the Ekerenyo-Obwari-Misambi Road under construction will extend to connect with Obwari-Gekendo-Nyamaiya Road?"
