    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand to support the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal (Amendment) Bill. We face many bottlenecks in the procurement process in this country. Many people argue that it is a big source of corruption in our country. Streamlining this law and amending the bottlenecks that are there will go a long way in enabling us to have a very efficient procurement process in this country. It is really important that we get value for money for whatever we transact in our procurement processes. The few amendments that have been made to the parent law will enable us to achieve that. I like the idea of the procurement entity doing market feasibility to ensure that whatever we procure is accessed well as per the current market price. This will ensure that Kenyans get value for their money."
