    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Indeed, I am appreciative of the fact that many Members had an opportunity to contribute to this Bill. It will go a long way in improving our procurement processes and mechanisms so that we get better value for money for the Kenyan people. As I said while moving the Bill, I am aware that the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning had identified a number of areas for amendments. I also welcome Hon. Nduati, who said he would bring some amendments. I am not sure whether Hon. Ng’eno said he would bring amendments. It is all in the spirit of trying to enrich the Bill and make it better for purposes of moving forward. I want to thank the Members who have contributed to this Bill, particularly the Members of the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning who were able to give us their Committee’s perspectives. I do hope that between now and the next one week or so, we will have all the necessary amendments and harmonise them. Hopefully, in the course of next week, we will process this Bill in the Committee of the whole House and conclude it. With those few remarks, I beg to reply."
