    "content": "The Bill is very lenient in terms of the penalties. As a Committee, we feel that there is need to ensure that they are enhanced for sustainable waste management in our country. There will be an amendment to that effect. Also, the Bill does not provide for e-waste management. Therefore, there is need to provide for it in the Regulations when the Bill goes through. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, having considered the Sustainable Waste Management Bill (National Assembly Bill No.22 of 2021), the Committee recommends that the House approves it with amendments as proposed in the Schedule contained in the Report."
