"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I wish to support this Bill on waste management. It is an important Bill. I want to commend the Leader of the Majority Party for bringing it to the House. All you need to do is to look at our environment. The environment is key in handling waste management, particularly in our country. I am glad that the law that has been proposed touches on county governments and the national Government. That is where waste is all over the place. Sometime if you walk around, it is sickening how people handle waste. We need stringent laws so that people do not dispose waste carelessly. We are talking about the NEMA. Is it effective or not? We need to get people to work on waste management. If you walk around in our towns and compare them with the outside world, there is a big difference, for example, with the United State of America. I am told that time is running out. With those remarks, I support the Bill, hoping to get another chance to weigh in on the same. I know it will be continuing tomorrow. Thank you."
