    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended by deleting paragraph (d). Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, we support the amendment. The justification is that the proposed provision establishing the Defence Forces Retirement Home is counter-intuitive. Military veterans ought to be integrated in their families, and not isolated. It will not be pragmatic to keep military veterans in retirement homes. The amendment, therefore, seeks to delete it."
