    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I support this amendment. The strength of the KDF, now and in the future, will very much be dictated by how we look after veterans and their families. Any attempts within this Bill or the future Act to discriminate against a particular group will not sit well with young serving members aged 19 or 20 years old. They are young men and women. For that reason, the amendment that the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations has proposed is good, and I support it."
