Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 53 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting sub-clause (1) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause (1)— (1) All persons with disabilities who are in receipt of an income may apply to the Cabinet Secretary responsible for finance for exemption from income tax and any other levies on such income. (b) in sub clause (2) by inserting the words “in accordance with the Income Tax Act, Cap 470” immediately after the word “partially”; (c) in sub clause (3) by deleting the words “specially designed”"
