Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations in its Report on the vetting of the nominees for approval as ambassadors, high commissioners and permanent representatives, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 24th May 2022 and pursuant to the provisions of Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution, Section 20(2) of the Foreign Service Act, No.12 of 2021 and Sections 3 and 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011, this House approves the appointment of the following persons as ambassadors, high commissioners and permanent representatives:"
