    "content": "Project, feeding into Lake Turkana, is going to have a devastating impact on Lake Turkana and the livelihoods of more than 500,000 Kenyans who live around this lake. Let me advise the Government that I serve. I do not think that it is critical for us to go for blood electricity to benefit some parts of this country while putting the livelihoods of more than half a million people at risk. We do not need that energy. What we can do is to utilize other renewable energy in the country to cover the deficit that we have. With those remarks, I support."
