Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT clause 189 of the Bill be amended– (a) in sub-clause (5) by deleting paragraph (c); (b) in sub-clause (6)– (i) by inserting the words except “where the applicant is a biological relative of the child” in paragraph (e); (ii) by inserting the words except “where the applicant is a biological relative of the child” in paragraph (f); I wish to move the parts of my amendment which have not been touched by the Committee. It just goes again to kinship adoption for foreign relatives just to make sure that your foreign relatives can adopt your child if you are not there. Thank you."
