"content": "sub clause (2).” I am not substituting because the substitution there has actually erroneously restated what is in the Bill. The reason is that once you adopt a child, you cannot say that for purposes of this or that, it is your child but for purposes of this or that, it is not your child. What we need to educate the public is that once you adopt a child that child becomes legally your child and as the same status as any biological child. The law gives you different categories under which you can take care of children. You can choose any of the categories but an adoption gives the child legal right as that of a biological child. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I, therefore, beg to move: THAT, Clause 208 of the Bill be amended by deleting sub clause (2) Thank you."
