Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 237 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (b) by deleting the words “if he or she is charged with an offence under the Seventh Schedule” This is to ensure that all children in conflict to the law receive legal representation irrespective of the kind of offence committed by the child. This is as per the Seventh Schedule of our Constitution."
