    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I thank Sen. Abdul Haji for bringing the Committee Statement. One of the statements mentioned has not been addressed fully. My Statement was on the investigation on the concerted effort by the regulator and the DCI to close some of the retail businesses that manufacture liquefied gas in the country. The Committee has not invited me to get the feedback nor the response from EPRA. The DCI, in conjunction with some people within African Institute--- normally go to the outskirts of the City and intimidate people who run industries that deal with LPG gases. The reason we encourage Kenyans to use gas is because we want to protect our forests and our environment. We want a clean environment. You and I come from counties where women still cook using firewood. This continues to destroy the forests and makes life very hard."
