    "content": "Hon. Speaker, it is against this background that I seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing. In the Statement, the Chairperson should address the following concerns: (i) What measures have been put in place to ensure that the contractor delivers quality road works especially at the junctions of link and exit roads? (ii) What measures have been put in place to provide quality road infrastructure along the link and exit roads that will ensure smooth flow of traffic, particularly in Embakasi area? (iii) What urgent steps have been put in place to ensure that Mombasa Road is rehabilitated and restored to its former state, including and not limited to beautification and restoration?"
