(a) The Emergency Operations Programmes (EMOP) now called Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation (PRRO) is jointly being implemented by the Government and the World Food Programme (WFP) and has been running for several years now. The current phase of the programme which began in October, 2009 and is expected to end in February 2010 is benefiting about 4,700,000 Kenyans in 28 districts of our country.
