Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 18 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1) by deleting paragraph (f) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph— “(f) in collaboration with relevant bodies, co-ordinate the evacuation of people in disaster prone areas.” You realise that the board is required to act or take action together with other relevant bodies. That power has not been given to the board and the purpose of this amendment is, therefore, to give the board power to liaise with other bodies in evacuations."
