    "content": "Without taking much time, I want to make a contribution on an amendment that will be important in this Bill. I will bring it in the Committee of the whole House. I hope that I shall get the assistance of people who understand this field, so that we can celebrate veterans beyond the military boundaries. The military in Kenya has instituted ways of decorating service men who serve with honour and dignity. However, it only lives within the boundaries of the military camps and barracks. We, as civilians out here, do not celebrate our military. There is an amendment that I shall bring to this Bill. As we are building the new hall of fame at the Uhuru Gardens, we can celebrate the military beyond the boundaries of the barracks. The civilians can recognise some of the veterans who have served in this country in an exceptional way."
