Senators, I wish to report to the Senate that pursuant to Standing Order No.41 (3) and (4), I received the following Message from the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the passage of the mediated version of the County Governments Additional Allocation Bill (Senate Bills No.35 of 2021). The Message, which is dated Wednesday 6th April 2022, was received on 8th April 2022 while the Senate was on recess. Pursuant to the said Standing Orders, I now report the Message: Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.41 (1) of the National Assembly Standing Orders, I hereby convey the following Message from the National Assembly. “Whereas the mediated version of the County Government Additional Allocation Bill (Senate Bill No.35 of 2021) was passed by the Senate on Thursday 31st March 2022 and referred to the National Assembly for consideration and whereas National Assembly passed the said Bill on Thursday April, 7th 2022, now therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 113(3) of the Constitution, I will present the Bill to His Excellency the President for assent.” I thank you."
