"content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I have a problem with Clause 14(b)3, which says: “Where a person is required or permitted to provide a certified copy of a document and the document exists in paper or other physical form, that requirement shall be deemed to have been fulfilled if an electronic copy of the document is certified to be a true copy of the document and the certification is confirmed by the electronic signature of a person who is authorised to certify the document which is verified in advance in the system.” How do you certify that an electronic copy is a true copy? It is good to say that an electronic copy should be coded. Nowadays, documents have a code and then you just scan to see their authenticity. Is there a need to add something like, “…if the code is authentic?”"
