    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I support the amendment. The background of this amendment is on the basis that everything is local. When we nominate that group of persons, they represent the best local interests. We are curing a situation. We do not want to nominate somebody from outside a region or jurisdiction, which is in this case the ward, so that we cushion political parties, especially from the headquarters or the county regions, so that they do not just bring anybody to represent the interests which are not there."
