"content": "he is less competent. That is what this amendment Bill is trying to do. We need to ensure that we bring them to a level playing ground, where they will have easy and equitable access to opportunities that are accorded by the construction industry. As for women, they are an integral part of our society. When it comes to the construction industry, most of the work is done by men. You cannot compete with men when it comes to building and construction. It is only fair that women are afforded an opportunity to compete effectively with men in the construction industry. We have to appreciate that being a young person and a PWD in this country comes with a lot of challenges. Being a woman also comes with a lot of challenges, especially when it comes to accessing to opportunities. This amendment Bill by Hon. Gikaria is one of the best ways of addressing this imbalance that seems to have been perpetuated since Independence. So, I support."
