So, he is just explaining that had you gone the route of a Question, perhaps it would have been a lot better because then he would have called all those concerned, invite you and have some interaction. That is why he is saying, when he reads the Statement which you will be given… Remember, those functionaries are very happy writing us all manner of Statements. So, it will be brought here, the Chairman will read it and you may desire to ask some supplementary questions which the Chairman may not be privy to, yet if you had gone the route of a Question, they would have been there to hear your supplementary questions and respond to them accordingly. If you are not satisfied, the Chairman can even adjourn the meeting to another day so that they can bring a more satisfactory answer. Since you have gone this route for the time being, let us just be contended with what the Chairman is going to bring."
