"content": "funds from the schools feeding program. This concerns me because it is about children. Children need to be nourished; they must be healthy and developed in order for them to learn. Then I saw online a recurrent expenditure of Kshs500 million under the National Land Commission (NLC). I even brought an amendment to the effect that this amount be removed and taken to the schools feeding program. It was on this premise and under the access to information because food is a basic human right. What was this recurrent expenditure which has now been reduced from Kshs500 million to Kshs250 million and why was it such a bigger priority than feeding the children of Kenya?"
