    "content": " Hon. Senators, I have a Communication to make. As you are aware, on Tuesday 29th March, 2022, I issued a Communication conveying the decision of the Senate Business Committee on the application of Part XX1XA of the Standing Orders regarding hybrid/virtual plenary sittings. The effect of the Communication suspended hybrid/virtual plenary sittings with effect from today, 31st March, 2022. Hon. Senators, owing to the urgency and importance of the business scheduled this afternoon and notwithstanding the resolution of the Senate Business Committee that I have alluded to this afternoon, I have again consulted the Senate Business Committee pursuant to Standing Order No.251a (1)(a). I, therefore, direct that this afternoon’s Plenary sitting will be hybrid. This will enable Senators out of town, who did not get my Communication in time, to participate in today’s Plenary sitting. I thank you."
