    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I rise Pursuant to Standing Order No. 48(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Health regarding the provision of mental health and psychosocial services in the counties. In the Statement the Committee should address the following: - (1) Explain the status of provision of mental health and psychosocial services to Kenyans across the country given the allegations that those seeking healthcare across the country are a staggering one quarter have mental health conditions. (2) Outline the measures that other 46 counties have put in place if any, to ensure that there is communication and creation of awareness regarding county health facilities that offer mental health and psychosocial support services, including informing the public where to seek those services akin to the Nairobi Metropolitan Services publication of 32 health facilities offering these services in the Nairobi City County facilities.
