Some of the landmark rulings that come to mind are the Supreme Court Ruling on the 2013 Presidential Election Petition, delivered by Justice Mutunga; and the Justice David Maraga ruling on the 2017 Presidential Election Petition. Most importantly, we have to remember that beyond the politics, the Supreme Court has actually been doing amazing work for Kenyans. So, as we try to streamline its workings, it is important for us to ensure that an attempt is made at modernising the processes for provision of justice and services to Kenyans. Technology is important. If we are attempting to bring the Supreme Court to the level of today’s world of doing judicial business, where we know that date in itself is becoming currency, this is the way to go."
