    "content": "Most stakeholders supported the principal objective of the Bill, which is to ensure prompt payment of suppliers of goods and services to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). Stakeholders observed that this proposal will increase the liquidity of companies, suppliers and contractors who are mostly small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It will make it possible for the businesses to expand and contribute to their credit worthiness. It will also reduce their cost of borrowing and the reputational risks associated with borrowing."
