"content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. The Senate Majority Leader has given us the business for next week. My only concern is that there are Statements and Motions that take 14 days or the parliamentary time, and by that time we might have adjourned Sine Die . My question is what happens in that case? Madam Temporary Speaker, for instance, the Statement that you made normally takes two weeks to get a response and maybe by that time we might have adjourned. Some of these issues might not extend to the next Parliament due to time limitations. My request is that, by the direction of the Speaker and under Standing Order No. 1, is there a way that the House can allow the period for the feedback on Statements, Motions and Petitions to be shortened, so that we can get feedback before we adjourn"
