"content": "(d) by renumbering the existing provision as sub-clause (1); (e) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after the renumbered new sub-clause (1)— “(2) Despite the provisions of subsection (1), a person may elect not to be registered as an ICT practitioner.” The justification to the proposed amendments addresses the concerns raised by some stakeholders, that the qualification and experience requirements will lock out ICT practitioners. The amendments lower the requirement and further provides for voluntary registration as an ICT practitioner. Further, the amendment seeks to provide the use of ICT practice instead of ICT field which is not defined in the Bill. I move, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman."
