    "content": " Thank you Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. At the outset, I support the amendment to the KRA Act of changing its name from, “Authority” to “Services”: Kenya Revenue Authority to Kenya Revenue Services. The KRA is an agency that is tasked with collection of revenue for the Government. It is also responsible for the assessment, collection and accounting for all the revenue they collect for the Government. They want to be friendly to the taxpayer by changing their name. I congratulate them because over the years they have increased revenue collection. This is very important because that funds the Government. If the KRA continues to increase the revenue, it will reach a point where we will reduce the amount of Government debt."
