    "content": "I think to allow a Member at this hour to make an amendment to the Committee’s Report is not fair to that Committee and the House. If anything, the House is not passing judgement on anybody. It is making a recommendation to the EACC to investigate. No one should fear - it is only the guilty who should be afraid. If you have done no wrong then you should not fear. Just allow other constitutional institutions like EACC to investigate. This is because the Committee in their due consideration of all the evidence adduced before it made this recommendation. We should allow that recommendation to stay as it is in the Committee’s Report. Should the people who are being recommended to be investigated be innocent, we can leave it to other investigative agencies to investigate and pass judgement. However, to be the one Member asking for a deletion of a recommendation, is what I do not think is right. We should allow the Committee’s Report to pass as recommended by the Departmental Committee."
