    "content": "“In Exercise of the powers conferred by Article 126(2) of the Constitution of Kenya, I, Uhuru Kenyatta, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoints that the first sitting of the Senate shall be held at the Main Parliament Buildings in the Senate Chamber, Nairobi, on 8th September, 2022 at 9.00am.” The Gazette notice is dated 5th September, 2022 and is signed by His Excellency the President. I will now proceed to lay the Gazette notice on the Table of the Senate as required."
