Senators, Standing Order No. 3(1)(b) requires that on the first sitting of a new Senate, Pursuant to the President’s notification under Article 126(2) of the Constitution; the Clerk shall lay a list of the names of the persons elected as Senators on the Table of the Senate. I will now proceed to lay on the Table of the Senate Gazette Notice No.9955 dated 24th August, 2022 that lists the persons elected as Senators and Gazette Notice No.10537 dated 7th of September, 2022 containing the names of the persons nominated as Senators pursuant to Article 98(1)(b),(c) and (d) of the Constitution.
