    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise again to reiterate that the north is fully represented in this House. I stand with the same agility that the Senator for Nandi County had when he was defending his people even against the ruling coalition’s, Kenya Kwanza, position on the importation of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). He defended his people because GMOs were going to directly affect his county because they are farmers. There are pastoralists who deviated from their way of livelihood to embrace farming but that does not give him any right to speak against the issues in the north. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Equalisation Fund will go a long way in ensuring that every Kenyan is put on an equal pedestal to enjoy the same rights as other Kenyan citizens."
