    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources, on criteria used by valuers at the National Land Commission (NLC) to compute compensation to land owners in the Horn of Africa Gateway Project along Isiolo-Modogashe Road in Isiolo County. In the Statement, the Committee should – (1) Table a list of all land acquired by the NLC along the Isiolo – Modogashe Road, indicating the amount owed to each land owner and the criteria used in determining the compensation figures."
