Speaker, the Committee is currently in session considering some of these petitions. The Chairman has indicated that he will not finalise this process within the 14 days’ period. Therefore, he is seeking an extension of the Committee’s sittings by three days to consider these petitions and conclude the matter before they bring a report to the House.
