    "content": "For a very long time, the cries of the people of western Kenya who are sugarcane farmers have been ignored. We have been saying that we need to curb the problem of importation of sugar because it is killing our industries. However, because we are gracious people, we are not laughing at the farmers in the North Rift about what has befallen them now. In fact, we are crying with them because as it happens, we also grow maize in western Kenya."
