    "content": " Thank you Hon. Temporary Speaker for giving me the opportunity to add my voice to this Motion. I think we are speaking about many things, but the Motion is about barring the importation of GMOs. The first thing that I will try to clarify is the difference between GMO and BT maize. Genetic engineering is a branch of science and biotechnology. It enlarges the broader sense of that science or the broader spectrum and generic engineering in a sense that has to do with transfer of genes from one organism to another.
