    "content": "any of the political parties that sponsored them during this election. They will go there to represent Kenya. As I congratulate the EALA Members-elect (Kenya Chapter), I plead with them to carry the honour and dignity of our country to Arusha and represent us well. They should speak for, and on behalf of, Kenyans and help resuscitate our economy by opening up the borders of not just the East African Region but also the entire African Continent with the objective of establishing an African Free Trade Area. Let me once again congratulate all the Members across the political divide who participated in this election for conducting themselves in a very orderly manner. I thank the Office of the Clerk. Maybe, this is what comes with youth. Our new Clerk is relatively young but he has ensured that this process flowed very smoothly. It was very well organised. We were able to conduct the election quickly, unlike the last time when we were here to almost past midnight. I, once again, congratulate the Members-elect to EALA and wish them all the best as they represent Kenya in Arusha."
