    "content": "On the issue of Petition on universities, I think our public universities are no longer universities of first choice. They are under-funded, there is a problem of leadership and also young Kenyans are reluctant to go to public universities because they cannot finish their studies at the appropriate time. For that reason, what the Petitioner is asking is: “Can you, Kenyans, who have benefitted from these institutions, come forward and help out?” I think Parliament is best placed, because this is where we allocate resources. We must ask ourselves: “Do we need to allocate more resources or we address leadership of these institutions?”"
