    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I also rise to support the Report. From the outset, I would like to indicate to the House that EALA has attracted a good number of people who I believe are qualified. From the Report, 348 people applied, 69 were nominated and nine are required to be elected tomorrow. I believe that from the list that has been given, this House is capable of picking people who are qualified and who will push the agenda of Kenya in EALA. I urge Members from this House to do what is objective tomorrow when it comes to voting. I believe that the election will be on Thursday. Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I conclude, the Committee has proposed that a framework for formal campaigns be placed in the 2017 Rules for these particular positions. Once the House is done with the elections process, it can also formulate a process where candidates can have formal processes to conduct their campaigns. This will make it easy and we will also get an opportunity to interrogate whatever they are seeking to go and do for us as a country in EALA."
