    "content": "Hon. Speaker, as I mentioned earlier, the Committee that oversees this Commission should not oversee particular commissioners, but the Commission as a whole. The Committee has a duty to ensure that the Commission enhances the growth of our democracy and parliamentary democracy in the country. Therefore, I ask the Member for Laikipia West, Hon. Wachira Karani, who is the Chairperson of the Committee on Members’ Services and Facilities, to prepare to engage with the Commission as soon as it is sworn into office, so that the Commission can apprise this House on what they are doing to facilitate Members in the advancement of parliamentary democracy. They should also guard our parliamentary democracy selfishly. Therefore, Hon. Wachira Karani has his job well cut out."
