    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this Motion. I want to thank Hon. Mule and Hon. Gichimu for coming up with this proposal that will see NG-CDF anchored into the Constitution. This is a Fund that is known by everybody in Kenya, and not meant for Members. Some of our schools have been funded by this Fund. We have been able to construct classrooms in primary schools, laboratories, dormitories and dining halls. If it were not for this Fund, our children would still be studying in mud walled classrooms. As I speak, there are those who still study in classrooms that are not permanent. We want the NG-CDF because it pays school fees for our children. At the moment, we are experiencing drought in my constituency and most men are not at home because they have all gone out to look for greener pastures to graze their livestock. So, once these children are sent home, they will only find their mothers who have nothing to offer the children. This means that most of them will remain at home. I, therefore, support this Motion to ensure that this Fund is anchored into the Constitution. By doing so, this Fund will be there forever to help our people, and nobody will ever go to the court or interfere with it whether we are there or not.
