    "content": "Hon. Temporary Speaker, the NG-CDF has sponsored very many students to schools through awarding of bursaries. There are families who cannot even afford a meal, leave alone schools fees. There are students that we sponsor fully. This is because, even if we gave them little money, they cannot manage to pay the balance. Therefore, it is important to make sure that NG-CDF is anchored in our Constitution to ensure that many needy students from poor and vulnerable families can access bursaries and continue with their schooling. I recall that last year alone, I was able to sponsor close to 13,000 students through bursaries. My concern is, if we lose the NG-CDF today, where will those students get money to continue with their education? This year, because of the challenges we are facing, we may have a bigger number of students. Therefore, I support that NG-CDF should continue."
