Senators, the Senate Business Committee (SBC), during its meeting held today, deliberated on the matter of appointment of Members to the Pan-African Parliament and resolved to have Notice of Motion and Motion listed in this Afternoon’s Supplementary Order Paper. In this regard, the Senate Majority Leader, will at the appropriate time, be called to give Notice of Motion for adoption of names for nomination to the Pan-African Parliament, and further, move a Motion for adoption of the names this afternoon with leave of the House.
