    "content": "Parliament of Kenya has a responsibility to address this matter once and for all. I do not think that the matter is just limited to the ability and performance of the current CEO. The issues facing KQ are more than the CEO. The issues have to do with financial misappropriation and wrong decisions that have been made. The Report by the National Assembly pointed out that it is not competitive for KQ to compete with other airlines. This is because of the high taxation regime on the aviation industry in Kenya. There are wide issues that the Committee needs to look at. The starting point is to look at the Report by the Committee led by Prof. Anyang’-Nyong’o and the Report of the Standing Committee of Roads and Transport of the National Assembly, which had a raft of measures that can be taken to bring back the airline to life.
