    "content": "I know that in certain cultures, but not mine and Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale’s, the conditions are conducive that even the fathers are allowed in to witness and welcome their own children. I do not think that is an invitation that Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale and I, would take up given the circumstances of our Kenyan Hospital. This is because it will leave some of us scarred for life. I do not know how much counselling we would require to go back to our normal selves. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, this is timely. This is not an emerging problem but a real problem. We have capacity challenges in our hospitals. As we address those capacity challenges, we also need to offer counseling services for mothers who go through such trauma. The counseling services should be extended to fathers, such as Mr. Robert, who lose their wives in the process of getting their children. With those remarks, I support and second this Motion. I thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir."
